4 Best Books For Young Leaders

One of the biggest struggles for a Young Leader is choosing what to read next. If you haven't figured it out yet, reading is essential to anyone aspiring to be a great leader. If you don't know that fact and don't know why that is, click on any "get rich quick" scheme or any article that states what is needed for success and fulfillment. I will have something to do with growth which involves reading.

Below are books for those that have determined that reading is important but lack the direction of what to read next. The goal of this post is to equip you with the opportunity to obtain the necessary skills needed to become a person Fully Alive. A network of inspired young people Fully Alive have the capacity to change the world. But first things first, lead from within. Only than can you empower and inspire others to achieve their goals. So without further ado, let's begin.

All great leaders have a purpose and a goal. They have a reason why they do what they do. Simon Sinek describes in great detail without a "why" leaders and or people will not get very far.

Part of finding your purpose and locating your why will involve cutting out and getting rid of the "extra" stuff. In McKeown's book, he articulates beautifully the power of essentiam and why it is important for any Leader in any field.

Self awareness is key to any young person aspiring to be a great leader. Slowly developing this habits while set you on a journey of significance. The path of significance is not easy but it is worth it.

What is holding you back? Why aren't you following these principals laid out for you in the above books. At this point in the post you have probably scrolled through and said you have read all of these books, but not this one. This book is not as well known but it could be the most important. This books opens you up and provides you insights as to why you aren't following the principals you have dedicated yourself to. It is a lot simpler than you think but also A LOT harder. John Eldredge will take you to that secret in every mans soul and drag you to answer the question: "what is holding you back."
